Powderpuff football game to raise money for cancer research

On Monday, February 13, 2023 the Cats for the Cure LLS Student Visionary of the Year team will host a high school girls’ powderpuff football game to raise funds for cancer research that will go towards the team’s fundraising goal. 

Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. with the kickoff at 7 p.m. The event will bed at Westminster Schools of Augusta, 3067 Wheeler Rd. Admission is a $5 donation.

Local LLS teen hero, Ella Cassedy, will attend the event which will include halftime games, and concessions will be available for purchase. All profits will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
