Inspiring: Women of Augusta, March, April, May 2025

Spring Is here – my absolute favorite time of year.

Augusta dresses up in her finest assortment of colors from the magenta and white teacup magnolias to the lilac-hued fragrant wisteria to the fuchsia, red and white azaleas. There’s no end to the natural beauty around the town as it awaits the annual influx of golf enthusiasts from around the world.

My favorite sight of spring has always been the bright fuchsia azaleas, but a few years ago, I found the orange native azaleas that have become a close second. I also love wisteria.

I find inspiration in nature as well as the women featured in this edition.

I’m excited about presenting the women in this issue.

Susan Everitt shares her story about what it was like to do disaster relief at home while Melanie Caballero creates New York runway pieces. Lena Whitwell introduced hockey to Georgia Southern and Charlotte Song is the driving force behind all the yummy treats at Edgar’s Hospitality.

Since this is the March, April, May issue, we’re anticipating Mother’ Day with a spread from our food columnist, Ann Beth Strelec, aka Naked Epicurean.

Print copies will be available starting this week. Keep checking back for a location near you. In the meantime, read the digital version. (Due to some kind of glitch, you will have to copy and paste the link.)
