Founded in November 2022 by Charmain Z. Brackett with more than 35 years of hometown journalism experience, Augusta Good News can’t cover all the good happening in the area. There are so many more stories to be told, and your advertising dollars help show people what a great community we live in – imperfections and all.

Don Rhodes, who is a legendary columnist with more than 50 years in the newspaper business including many years at The Augusta Chronicle, wrote his last newspaper column for Augusta Good News prior to his June 9, 2023 death at the age of 77. He will be missed.

Augusta’s favorite cocktail and food aficionado Ann Beth Strelec also known as Naked Epicurean is a regular contributor.

Mike Adams has won multiple Georgia Press Association awards for his photography and regularly contributes photo stories on features and sports.
