The Richmond County School System’s STEAM Showcase featured fun, games and education Saturday at the HUB for Community Innovation

Children could learn about robotics from AR Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet School who demonstrated a robot they’d made; they could learn to putt a golf ball or fast stack cups in other activities with a focus on STEAM learning.

They could learn about earth sciences and plants from the Phinizy Center and jobs in science, technology and engineering. The Georgia Cancer Center highlighted a variety of topics including its summer research opportunities for high school students.
