Event shows off Electric Lounge

Tucked away in a corner of the James Brown Arena is a premium spot perfect for parties or taking the entertainment experience to the next level.

“This space has been here for a couple of years,” said Tyler Gambrell, Regional Marketing Director for the Augusta Entertainment Complex, of Taylor BMW Electric Lounge.

But its existence isn’t widely known, she said, so arena officials opened it up for the Electrify Your Experience event on Aug. 24.

With tunes spun by DJ Coco Rubio and a sampling of new menu items by Chef Geoffrey Rivera combined with treats from Dolce Darlin’ and Sprinkld Cookies, the soiree gave a glimpse of what’s available.

“It’s a great space for parties,” said Gambrell.

Inside features the bar area and room to mingle, and there’s a covered outdoor portion as well.

Premium memberships are available that offer multiple benefits such as access to the lounge during arena events and free rentals. Also, the lounge can be rented by non-members for parties or other special events.
