ATLANTA – The Associated General Contractors of Georgia, Inc. (AGC Georgia), the state’s leading construction industry association, proudly announces Scott Clark, Chief Executive Officer of RW Allen Construction, as the 2026 recipient of its Skill, Integrity & Responsibility (SIR) Award.
Mike Macon, 2025–2026 AGC Georgia Board President, presented the award during the Closing Dinner of the association’s annual convention on June 6 at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. The SIR Award honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional service and lasting contributions to the construction industry, AGC Georgia, and their communities, according to a news release.
“Scott has spent decades pouring into the construction industry through his professional leadership and by investing in people,” said Zach Fields, CEO of AGC Georgia. “Whether mentoring future leaders, supporting students exploring construction careers or helping guide AGC Georgia, he has consistently worked to create opportunities for others and strengthen our industry for the future.”

Clark has been part of AGC Georgia, serving 14 years on the Board of Directors, including a one-year term as president beginning in June 2017. Since 2022, he has also served as an Elected Governor on AGC of America’s Board of Governors and has supported industry advocacy through state and national political action committees. A champion of leadership development, Clark was the impetus to establishing AGC Georgia’s Executive Alliance for senior level construction executives and has supported both association’s Leadership Academy and Young Leadership Program.
“He is also widely recognized for his impact within the construction industry’s workforce development arena. Perhaps the initiative most closely associated with his work is the AGC Georgia Skills Challenge Series. This fall, Clark and an extensive team of dedicated industry professionals from across East Georgia will partner with AGC Georgia to host the 13th Annual East Georgia Skills Challenge. His vision of connecting with local construction related high school instructors and creating a friendly competition that introduces students to industry opportunities helped spark the growth of what is now a statewide series of eight regional Skills Challenge events. Over the years, Scott’s regional event has contributed a portion of its fundraising back to local classrooms totaling more than $200,000 dollars,” the news release said.
Clark’s impact extends beyond the construction industry. He serves on advisory boards for Georgia Southern University Construction Management, Synovus, and Helms College, and is an active member of the Exchange Club of Augusta.
