Storms drown out Augusta GreenJackets’ games on second straight day

NORTH AUGUSTA – Due to consistent rain and preexisting wet field conditions at SRP Park, Sunday’s doubleheader between the Augusta GreenJackets and Columbia Fireflies has been postponed. The makeup dates for both games are still to be determined.

Rain on Saturday pushed that game to Sunday.

Patrons with tickets to either of today’s games may exchange them for any remaining home game in the 2026 season. Those wishing to do so may contact the SRP Park Box Office at 803-349-9467, or by visiting in person from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at SRP Park from Monday to Friday, according to a news release from the Augusta GreenJackets.

The GreenJackets will next be in action on the road Tuesday evening in Hickory, North Carolina against the Hickory Crawdads. The next Augusta home game is Tuesday, Aug. 11 as the GreenJackets will host the Charleston RiverDogs at 6:35 p.m..
