Spherion Staffing & Recruiting (Spherion) in Augusta is hosting a hiring event Aug. 26.
The event will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at 621 NW Frontage Rd. and will connect local job seekers to more than 90 full-time ,call center representative job opportunities.
The on-site positions offer $17 per hour plus performance bonuses, with eight-hour shift options available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. The roles are temp-to-permanent, with the potential to lead to long-term employment, according to a news release.
The call center customer service retention specialist roles offer candidates the chance to build valuable experience in customer service, sales and problem-solving, with six weeks of paid training provided before employees begin working independently. Team members will assist customers with account questions, help resolve concerns and identify products, services or savings that best fit their needs.
While previous customer service, call center or sales experience is a plus, it is not required. Spherion is especially looking for motivated, success-driven candidates with strong communication and listening skills who are eager to learn and grow.
