NORTH AUGUSTA — With the help of Annie Grace Carpenter, North Augusta Mayor Britton Williams threw the switch to light the North Augusta Christmas Tree and kick off the Christmas season at Lookaway Hall in North Augusta.

The event featured holiday music by local middle school bands.

After the lighting, area businesses participated in the Cocoa and Cookie Crawl.
