Fort Gordon hosted a remembrance ceremony on Sept 11, 2026 to honor the 25th anniversary of the fallen, first responders and survivors of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Held Fort Gordon’s Freedom Park, the ceremony featured Maj. Gen. Ryan Janovic, Commanding General, U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, as the keynote speaker

The main ceremony featured cannon fire and sirens. Additional cannon volleys signifying the time of each crash associated with the attack will continued until 10:03 a.m.
