The Rosa T. Beard Debutante Club held its 59th cotillion March 30 at the Augusta Convention Center.
“For 61 years, The Rosa T. Beard Debutante Club Inc. has been dedicated to the pro-social development of young ladies in the Augusta-CSRA,” according to a news release. “The organization remains dedicated to the empowerment of young ladies of the highest caliber in this area as leaders in their community and gracious social beings who will positively impact society.”
The club annually presents high school students to society at its annual cotillion, which is the culminating event of the year.
Also on Saturday, the club recognized debutantes through the decades in years ending in the number 4.
