HARLEM — Dunkin’ celebrated the grand opening of its newest Next Generation restaurant in Harlem on May 15.
The 755 Point Bluff Pkwy. location marked the brand’s first day serving guests in the community with promotions such as Free Coffee for 100 Days (in-store only)* for the first 100 guests, music from a live DJ, appearances from Dunkin’s mascot Cuppy and opportunities for guests to spin the Dunkin’ prize wheel for branded merchandise throughout the morning, according to a news release.

As part of the celebration, the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, alongside franchisee group APS Investments, presented Wellstar Golisano Children’s Hospital of Georgia with a $20,000 grant to support its Joy Dog program.
The funding will help support the hospital’s facility dog, Popcorn, who works alongside handler Harleigh Smith to provide comfort, companionship and emotional support to pediatric patients and families during treatment, the news release said.

The grant is part of the Foundation’s Dogs for Joy program, which has funded more than 50 in-residence dogs at hospitals nationwide. These specially trained facility dogs help reduce stress and anxiety for pediatric patients, support Child Life Specialist teams during medical procedures, and encourage mobility and engagement throughout a child’s care journey.
With the addition of this restaurant, Dunkin’ franchise group APS Investments, owned by franchisees Peter, AJ and Sam Patel, will own and operate 21 Dunkin’ locations in Georgia and South Carolina.
