Harlem baseball team ends season ranked in Top 10 in nation

MaxPreps released its Top 25 high school baseball teams in the nation and ranked Harlem High School’s two-time state championship team in the ninth spot.

Harlem, 40-1 on the season, won the state title by defeating Calvary Day 13-5 and 7-0 May 17 in Rome, Georgia.

MaxPreps also gave a nod to Will Holder for going 3-3 with two RBI and scoring three runs in the 13-5 victory and to pitcher Caden Coile in the 7-0 shutout for giving seven hits and striking out seven.

The team ended the season with the best record in the nation.
