The third annual Arts at the Plaza will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Columbia County
Performing Arts Center in Evans.
A partnership with the Columbia County School District Foundation, Arts at the Plaza brings together a variety of performances by Columbia County students in drama, band ensembles, honor chorus, and visual arts, by students grades K-12 presented on the Broadway-caliber stage of the prestigious Columbia County Performing Arts Center, according to a news release.

Students’ visual artwork will be on display and prints available for sale, with profits benefitting the Foundation. New to the event this year is an art garden in which guests will be able to see our talented art teachers and National Art Honor Society students in action as they create works of art on canvas. Additionally, participants will be able to create their own artwork in a “make-and-take” station, and at 2:30 p.m. the recipients of the Fine Arts Diploma seal will be recognized, and the winner of the Columbia County School District Fine Arts Scholarship will be named.
Arts at the Plaza takes place in conjunction with the weekly Evans Market just outside of the
Performing Arts Center.
Tickets for Arts at the Plaza are $8, including taxes and fees, and can be purchased at
www.thecenterofcc.com or by visiting www.ccboe.net/finearts.
