Family owned and operated Busby’s Heating & Air is expanding into Columbia County with the opening of a new location in Evans
A ribbon cutting for the site at 3001 McCrary Court, Suite 3, will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 5, according to a news release.
“We’re excited to establish a physical presence in Evans and continue building relationships in the community,” said Kristen Munn, President of Busby’s Heating & Air. “As we looked at our growth, we wanted to find a way to better serve this part of our market while also investing in the people who make Busby’s what it is.”
Rather than dividing its operations between multiple full-service locations, Busby’s plans to maintain its existing operational structure.
“We are very intentional about protecting our culture as we grow,” Munn said. “We don’t want growth to create silos or separate our team. Keeping our operations together allows us to maintain the communication, collaboration, and family atmosphere that have been such an important part of Busby’s for generations.”
The Evans facility will serve as a dedicated technical training center, providing a space for Busby’s to continuously develop and strengthen the knowledge, skills, and expertise of its team while maintaining the company’s core operations at its primary location.
“We’ve been serving customers throughout the CSRA for decades, and Columbia County has become an increasingly important part of our business,” Munn said. “This is an exciting next step for us. We’re investing in the community, investing in our team, and creating a foundation for Busby’s next chapter.”
Founded by J.C. Busby in 1945, Busby’s Heating & Air has grown from a small family business into one of the region’s most established heating and air conditioning companies. Today, the third generation of the Busby family continues that legacy with a focus on integrity, quality, and service, the release said.
