Walton Options for Independent Living, in partnership with title sponsor Georgia Rehabilitation Institute, Inc., will host the Walton Options Wheelchair Tennis Tournament September 18–20, 2026, at Riverview Tennis Center in North Augusta.
The tournament will bring together athletes, families, volunteers, and spectators for a weekend of adaptive tennis and community connection across the Augusta area, according to a news release.
“We are proud to bring this event to North Augusta and support athletes who embody sportsmanship and excellence,” said Lynn Seidemann, tournament chair and board member for Walton Options. “This tournament highlights the talent in our local
wheelchair tennis community and reinforces our commitment to fostering independence through sports.”
Top wheelchair tennis players from across the Southeast will compete in singles and doubles divisions, showcasing athleticism, determination, and sportsmanship. The event promotes adaptive tennis and encourages people across the CSRA to participate in
and enjoy the sport.
As title sponsor, Georgia Rehabilitation Institute shares Walton Options’ commitment to empowerment and community engagement.
