Wellstar MCG announces first birth of 2026

The first baby born at Wellstar MCG Health arrived at 1:13 a.m. Jan. 1, 2026. Her name is Zerah Basisi. She is 8 lbs, 4 oz. and is 20.5 inches long.

The staff made up a special welcome basket for the newborn.
