Ugly sweater holiday event planned for Nov. 23 at Evans Towne Center Park

The holiday season is officially here, and Columbia County plans to kick it off with family friendly festive fun at the Ugly Christmas Sweater Night event.

Break out your most outrageous Christmas sweater and take part in the holiday cheer from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 23.

Have a chance to win prizes for the ugliest sweater plus have dinner from one of the food trucks, enjoy live music and walk through the Christmas lights’ display, according to a news release from Columbia County.

Also, bring a chair and watch the holiday movie “Elf.”

The event is free and open to the public.
