Swindell to headline 15th Annual Music for Memories

Grammy-nominated country music singer Cole Swindell will headline Via Cognitive Health’s 15th Annual Music for Memories Concert Thursday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bell Auditorium.

The multi-award winning singer/songwriter, who Rolling Stone has called “a proven hit-maker,” has 13 No. 1 singles and more than 8 billion career streams. With 12 Platinum-certified singles with three being 3X Platinum (“Chillin’ It,” “You Should Be Here,” and “She Had Me At Heads Carolina”) and two being 2X Platinum (“Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and “Break Up In The End”), Swindell is known for his high-energy shows and heartfelt songwriting.

Music for Memories has become one of the region’s most beloved events, uniting great music and community spirit to support families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia, according to a news release from Via Cognitive Health.

Proceeds benefit Via’s adult day programming, caregiver support services and community education initiatives, which help individuals and families live well with memory loss.

“This is more than a concert. It’s a celebration of music, memory, and community,” said Cammie Jones, Board President at Via Cognitive Health. “We’re honored to welcome Georgia’s own Cole Swindell as we celebrate 15 years of impact and recognition as Augusta’s Best Local Fundraiser.”

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28. Go here for tickets.
