Sustainability fair set for Aiken Tech April 3

AIKEN — Aiken Technical College will host its third annual Sustainability Expo on Wednesday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Activities Center gymnasium. This event is free and open to the public.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about environmental topics and how they can get involved. The event will also feature community groups and business exhibitors, demos, contests, and giveaways.

Participating exhibitors include Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness, City of North Augusta, Clean Up Aiken, EDF Action, Green Energy Biofuel, Keep Aiken County Beautiful, Purebred Compost, SC DHEC-Aiken and Columbia, SC Energy Office, Silver Bluff Audubon Center and Sustainable CSRA.

The expo is supported by a DHEC Collegiate Recycling Grant.
