Sandhu wins Augusta Haskins Award Invitational April 5

Sihan Sandhu of the University of North Carolina won the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational on the third playoff hole April 5 at Forest Hills Golf Course.

UNC dominated play setting a tournament record with its 54-under par win.

The Augusta University men’s golf team finished in 10th in the tournament at 18-under-par. Oklahoma State finished in second with Pepperdine coming in third.

Stefan Jacobs was the low Jaguar on Sunday shooting a 2-under par 70. Jacobs made three birdies and a bogey during the final round. He finished in 28th place. Dean Wilkin shot a final round 71 and was the Jaguars highest finisher in the tournament at 7-under-par for 21st place.
