Rhythm and Ribs Festival returns Nov. 1

Christ Community Health will host the 9th Annual Rhythm & Ribs Community Festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1.

Rhythm & Ribs is a family-friendly event featuring live music and children’s activities sponsored by
Furys Ferry Hardware and the Morris Museum of Art. Smokeshow Food Truck and Kona Ice will provide the meal for $10.

There will be live music from Public Mind, Pure Love Music, Son of Faith, Trinity Bluegrass Gospel,
and Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Choir, according to a news release.

“Support Christ Community Health and bring your appetite, your friends, and your family for a
great afternoon of music and food,” said Elizabeth Merritt, Director of Development and
Communications.

There will also be tables with information from local community partners like SRP Federal Credit
Union, Locally Grown, Careforth, Turning Point, Hope Women’s Center, and SafeHomes.
All proceeds from the event benefit Christ Community Health in providing quality, affordable
primary care to the underserved.

insured families from a 10-county region around Augusta,
