Renaissance Fair set for Feb. 3-4

Travel back to Medieval times Saturday and Sunday at Dragon Faire at EastWind Castle 527  Johnston Highway, Trenton, S.C.

Children and the young at heart can walk a knight’s path, learn archery, throw stars, participate in foam sword fights, according to a new release.

Members of the Society for Creative Anachronism will demonstrate pottery, knitting and sewing from the era.

There will be two knighting ceremonies.

Performers include the Royal Court Bellydancers, Cathy Benedetto and more.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $8 for children between the ages of 4 and 15 and $15 for those 16 and older. Admission is free from children 3 and younger. Tickets are available at Eventbrite or at the gate.
