Registration open for Richmond County 2025-2026 school year

As the Richmond County School System prepares for the start of the 2025–2026 school year, new families are encouraged to complete registration, and all families must register for transportation ahead of the first day of school. RCSS will welcome back students on Aug. 4 for elementary schools and Aug. 5 for middle, K-8, magnet and high schools.

“We are excited to welcome new families to the RCSS community,” said Marcus Allen, deputy superintendent of operations, in a news release. “With the first day of school quickly approaching, it’s important for all families to update their information in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal so we can ensure a smooth start and be fully prepared to support our students from day one.”

Families of new students or students transferring schools can register online at www.rcboe.org/registration. School staff are available on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through July 25 to answer registration questions by phone.

Onsite registration will be available at all schools on July 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Parents and guardians can visit their child’s zoned school for in-person assistance.

All families, new and returning, are required to update their contact information and complete bus registration in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Parents and guardians are encouraged to visit rcboe.org/busregistration for step-by-step instructions.
