NORTH AUGUSTA — The University of Georgia beat Georgia Southern University 17-11 at SRP Park March 7.

Right fielder and first baseman Charlie Condon and DH Parks Harber each had four RBI for the Bulldogs.

The Eagles led 3-1 after the first inning. The Dawgs came back in the second scoring three runs to pull ahead. The Eagles countered in the top of the third to take the lead 7-4. The Bulldogs scored four in the bottom of the third and never looked back.

The win was the first decision for Bulldog pitcher Kyle Greenier on the season as the Dawgs improve to 9-3 on the year.

Eagles’ pitcher Mitchell Gross drops to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles are 7-5.

The Eagles and Dawgs will meet again March 8 in Statesboro.
