Photojournalism: Augusta University defeats Emmanuel in the first round of the NCAA regional tournament

Top seed Augusta University advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA regional basketball tournament March 11 after defeating Emmanuel College 83-74 in front of the home crowd at Christenberry Fieldhouse.

Tyshaun Crawford scored 29 points with Ja’Queze Kirby scoring 20 on the day.

Augusta University will play the University of South Carolina Aiken at 7:30 p.m. March 12 at Christenberry. The Pacers won against Catawba 88-79 March 11. See photos from USCA’s win here.
