Peach Jam kicked off its 30th anniversary tournament on July 14

NORTH AUGUSTA – The Nike Elite Youth Basketball League returned for its 30th consecutive year for day one of the Peach Jam tournament at North Augusta Riverview Park Activities Center on Tuesday, July 14.

Peach Jam features many of the top high school basketball recruits in the world from age divisions 17-Under, 16-Under and 15-Under, who will battle it out to become champions of Nike’s summer basketball city. 

Some of this year’s top recruits competing in Peach Jam include No. 1 recruit in the class of 2027 Beckham Black(AB Elite), No. 2 recruit in class of 2027 Demarcus Henry (Vegas Elite), No. 4 recruit in class of 2027 Adan Diggs (Vegas Elite), No. 5 recruit in the class of 2027 Malachi Jordan (Arizona Unity), No. 1 recruit class of 2028 AJ Williams (Team CP3) and many more of the best high school basketball players. 

Many of the best local high school players also compete in Peach Jam including Cross Creek’s Frashad Tisby (Jet Academy), Harlem’s AJ Williams (Jet Academy), and former Grovetown guard Marcus Curry Jr. (Florida Rebels).

The tournament will continue through July 19. Pool play begins and runs all day Friday, July 17. A single game elimination tournament begins Saturday featuring the top eight teams. The championship games for all three age divisions will be Sunday, July 19.
