NORTH AUGUSTA — Despite the rainy weather, crowds lined up Friday morning for a chance to shop at North Augusta’s new Goodwill.

Staff members cut a large red ribbon outside the store at 9 a.m. Feb. 17 to mark the 1117 Knox Ave. location’s grand opening. The event includes prizes and giveaways.

The new location features an attended donation center and retail training store. Plans are to add a Goodwill Career Center.
