Nike Peach Jam top recruits battle with championship weekend ahead

NORTH AUGUSTA – Many of the top high school Basketball players in the world have faced off this week at Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball Peach Jam at North Augusta Riverview Activities Center.

With Pool Play getting ready to come to an end, the intensity of the games rise and each game will mean that much more as it will soon be a single game elimination playoff tournament.

One team remains in the EYBL undefeated in Pool Play as Team Durant has a 4-0 record going into Friday. The EYBL E16 age division has five teams undefeated in Pool Play as Indy Heat, JL3, Team Herro, the Florida Rebels and Meanstreets all are 4-0. The Georgia Stars, Team United, and NW Rotary all remain undefeated in the 15U age division as of Thursday, July 17.

The Oakland Soldiers, who feature No. 1 Recruit in the Nation Tyran Stokes, will look to bounce back come tournament time with only a 2-2 record.

Pool Play will continue through Friday, setting up the bracket play for Saturday and ending with the Championship games on Sunday, July 20.
