News You Can Use: Columbia County lane closures July 24-29

Road construction continues in Columbia County.

Here are a few spots to look out for from July 24-29, according to news releases from Columbia County.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 24-25, there will be intermittent temporary lane closures on Halali Farm Road. due to road resurfacing.

Blanchard Road is also undergoing resurfacing with intermittent lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25-26.

A third resurfacing project will be at Southern Pines Drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 28-29.

All work is weather permitting.

“Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; watch for advanced warning signs; obey road crew flaggers; and expect the unexpected. If possible, please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting during this timeframe,” the news release said.
