Nationals hand GreenJackets worse loss of the year July 23

NORTH AUGUSTA – The Augusta GreenJackets suffered their worst loss of the season on Sunday, as the Fredericksburg Nationals slaughtered the ‘Jackets 17-4 at SRP Park.

Fredericksburg (10-13, 40-46) put the game out of reach with a seven-run second inning, while Augusta (11-13, 42-47) gave up the most runs and second most hits in a single game this year.

The GreenJackets head to Charleston next and will return to North Augusta Aug. 1 where they will host the Fireflies.
