Greenbrier’s girls squeaked past Pope (Marietta) 3-2 Thursday at home to advance to the state championship game versus Chamblee who won its semifinal match 2-1 over Roswell May 7.
Greenbrier ups its record to 15-3, and Chamblee is 17-5.
The game is a rematch from the championship four years ago with the Wolfpack coming out on the losing end. This time, the team hopes for a different outcome.
The state title match will be at 5 p.m. May 13 at Duluth High School.
