Laney High School is hosting its annual Wildcat Shootout basketball tournament at Norman Bonner Gymnasium this weekend.
This is the fourth year Laney has held the event which tipped off Dec. 26.

High school boys’ and girls’ teams across the CSRA are competing in the tournament including Grovetown, Josey, Hephzibah, Westside, ARC (boys), Fox Creek (girls), North Augusta (girls), South Aiken (girls), Warner Robins (girls), Glenn Hills (boys), Jefferson County (boys) and Midland Valley (boys).
Saturday consisted of seven games including a very close battle in which ARC defeated Jefferson County 51-50.
The Wildcat Shootout will continue with six more games on Monday, Dec. 29.
