With just a few triangles and some circles, Jeffrey Brown can create a likeness of Darth Vader.

On Saturday, Brown, the New York Times’ bestselling author and illustrator of books such as “Darth Vader and Son” and “Vader’s Little Princess” was the featured guest at the Star Wars Reads Day at the Augusta Public Library.

Brown taught a workshop on how to draw Star Wars’ characters and signed autographs at the event which has been held at the library since 2013.

People attended the event dressed in Star Wars-themed costumes; and children made crafts.
