NORTH AUGUSTA – North Augusta’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams took games from South Aiken Thursday to maintain perfect region records.
Originally scheduled for Friday night, the games were moved to Thursday because of the threat of winter weather.
The girls took the court for the first game and dominated Lady Thoroughbreds 42-20. The Lady Yellow Jackets are now 13-1 and 4-0 in the region. They will take on Airport (9-6, 2-2) on Tuesday.
In the boys’ game, it was all Yellow Jackets with the undefeated squad defeating the Thoroughbreds 62-21. They are scheduled to play Marion on Jan. 11 and Airport on Jan.14.
