NORTH AUGUSTA – For the second straight year, North Augusta has defeated Thomson in the Yellow Jackets’ season opener.

This year, the Jackets used their homefield advantage to defeat the Bulldogs 33-7. The Yellow Jackets won the 2024 season opener 25-18.  It was Thomson’s second game of the season. The Bulldogs beat the Evans Knights 7-0 on Aug. 15.

The Yellow Jackets will travel to Lexington on Aug. 29 while the Bulldogs host the Academy of Richmond Academy next Friday.
