In pictures: North Augusta MRE distribution

NORTH AUGUSTA – Members of the South Carolina National Guard loaded cars with cases of water and meals-ready-to-eat Friday at the North Augusta Community Center.

Since Monday, the service members have distributed items to about 2,200 people, and they will continue to distribute items as the need persists. Each case of MREs has 16 meals.
