In pictures: North Augusta tops Strom Thurmond Sept. 13

JOHNSTON, S.C. – Two Corey Tillman touchdown passes sealed the game for North Augusta’s Yellow Jackets on Friday over Strom Thurmond 14-7.

Strom Thurmond scored first on a Brishaun Lee pass to Jay Sewell, but the Yellow Jackets tied it to go into the half even at 7-7.

The ‘Jackets put the final points on the scoreboard in the third quarter and handed the Rebels their first loss on the season.

North Augusta, now 3-1, visits Gilbert on Sept. 20 while Strom Thurmond, 2-1, will host Greenwood’s Emerald Vikings next week.
