In pictures: North Augusta defeats Strom Thurmond

NORTH AUGUSTA – The North Augusta Yellow Jackets defeated Strom Thurmond’s Rebels on the gridiron Friday 23-11.

The Rebels took an early lead with a field goal and were up 11-7 at the halfway point, but it was all Yellow Jackets in the second half as they posted their fourth win of the season. Now 4-2, North Augusta will host South Aiken on Sept. 29.

Strom Thurmond drops to 3-2 and will take on Batesburg-Leesville in Batesburg on Sept. 29.
