AIKEN — A little rain didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of those attending Mardi Gras activities on Feb. 15.

Festively dressed dogs ambled along in the Kazoo Dog Parade which raised money for the Friends of the Animal Shelter.

There were bands and food, and a second line parade to bring in the spirit of New Orleans.
