COLUMBIA – The North Augusta Lady Jackets continued their domination on the court Saturday.
The defending SCHSL AAAA State championship kept their crown by defeating Westside 63-50 at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia on March 7.
The Lady Jackets, who only lost one game during the regular season and went undefeated in region play, has captured seven state titles since 2017.
The first half of Saturday’s game was close with North Augusta taking two-point lead after the first quarter 19-17 and maintaining that lead at the half 26-24. The Lady Jackets broke away in the third stretching their lead to 44-34 gong into the final quarter.
