NORTH AUGUSTA – The North Augusta girls’ basketball dynasty continued its dominance Feb. 13 as the Lady Jackets buzzed past the Greenville Red Raiders 71-32 in the first round of the playoffs on the YellowJackets’ home court.
Kennedy Armistead led the Lady Jackets with 21 points followed by Celena Grant with 18 and Madison McCain with 14.
The team, which has won five state titles since 2017, finished the season with an undefeated region record. Now, 22-5, the Lady Jackets eye another state title. The semifinals are set for Feb. 23-28 in Florence with the title games March 1-2 in Florence.
North Augusta’s boys team also sports an undefeated region record and will host Berea at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14.
