The Holiday Gingerbread Village will be open for visitors at the Augusta Museum of History through Nov. 30 (except for Thanksgiving.)
Eleven gingerbread structures, based on historic locations and structures including Magnolia Cemetery, Augusta Arsenal, Augusta City Hospital and Springfield Baptist Church, are part of the annual exhibit. During your visit, participate in a scavenger hunt and then vote for your favorite.
On Nov. 22, the museum hosted Gingerbread Fun Day with music and crafts.
Once the gingerbread structures come down, the museum will host another special guest Dec. 7 and 14. Santa will be making visits, and the museum has his sleigh ready.
