In pictures: Good Friday Cross Walk

Christian faithful marked Good Friday with the annual Cross Walk in south Augusta.

Cosponsored by the South Augusta Pastor’s Alliance, the annual event begins at Burns Memorial Methodist Church and follows a one-and-a-half mile route turning at Ascension Lutheran Church, Hillcrest Baptist Church and ending at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Along the route, people pray and sing and remember the events of Good Friday.
