In pictures: Cleanup continues around Augusta after Helene

Blue tarp-covered roofs and logs piled several feet high are common sights in area neighborhoods as cleanup continues after Hurricane Helene.

Over the past several days, crews have worked to restore power and traffic signals as well as remove trees and other debris. Here are a few images from around the area.
