Who makes Augusta’s best tomato sandwich?
Competitors fought for bragging rights at Augusta Locally Grown’s fourth annual Best Tomato Sandwich contest June 12 at the Hub for Community Innovation.
Competitors were judged according to presentation, taste and creativity.
In the end, Chuck Simpson celebrated his win.
Each Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m., people can purchased fresh produce at Augusta Locally Grown’s Veggie Park Farmer’s Market at the Hub.
