In pictures: A ‘Funky Good Time’ honored James Brown and Sharon Jones May 2

Guests had a funky good time at a birthday bash honoring the Godfather of Soul and the Queen of Funk on May 2 at the Augusta Museum of History.

James Brown’s birthday is May 3 while Sharon Jones birthday May 4.

Members of the James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils played tunes, and guests enjoyed birthday cake.
