Airplanes, trucks of all sizes plus a few race cars were part of the 7th annual Meet a Machine day at Augusta Regional Airport Sept. 12.
The event, which raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network, gave attendees the chance to get close to the vehicles and equipment that keep the community moving, protected, and connected. From fire trucks, police vehicles, and rescue units, to aircraft, construction machinery, drones, a race car, monster truck, McQueen Augusta, tow and garbage trucks, people met the machines and the professionals behind them, according to a news release.
