For 30 years, the eve of the University of Georgia and University of South Carolina football game has been marked with the Border Bash.
On Sept. 15, the Mason Jars and J and the Bootleggers provided music while the Gamecocks and Bulldogs cheerleaders stirred up fans at SRP Park in North Augusta ahead of the big game, which raises money for children’s charities.
Other favorites on the evening included college mascots Hairy Dawg and Cocky.
The undefeated Georgia Bulldogs host the Gamecocks Saturday at Sanford Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
