In pictures: Midland Valley beats Strom Thurmond

GRANITEVILLE  — The Mustangs charged past the Rebels 21-16 at L.L. Willis Stadium Aug. 25.

On the Mustangs’ first offensive play, Traevon Dunbar broke through the Rebel defenders, almost running the length of the field for 92-yard touchdown.

The Mustangs are 2-0 after the night and will play Silver Bluff on Sept. 1. The Rebels drop to 1-1 and will take on Aiken High next week in Edgefield.
